Khloe Kardashian is reportedly starting fertility treatment.

The reality TV star has been married to basketball player Lamar Odom for two years and they have made no secret of their desire to start a family.

According to TMZ, the pair have been trying for a baby for some time. As Khloe has not fallen pregnant yet she has apparently decided to seek professional help.

"They have tried in vain for months to get pregnant. So Khloe went to ART Reproductive Center in Bev Hills Monday ... to start the process," reports the website.

The 27-year-old star reportedly took her sister Kim along for moral support. During the appointment Khlo had blood taken, which will be tested to ensure her hormone levels are as they should be.

When the outcome is known the medical centre will come up with a program for the star.

The site claims Khloe and Lamar were planning to get fertility help while they were living in Dallas, where he played for the Mavericks team. Lamar has parted ways with the side and the pair are now back in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Khloe, Kim, and the rest of the family have been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey for a programme airing on Sunday.

The girls' mother Kris Jenner, her husband Bruce, and their sisters Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie will all feature in the special. The group also including their brother Rob and Kourtney's partner Scott Disick were interviewed at Kris and Bruce's Hollywood Hills home and Kim can't wait to see the show.

"I've always looked up to Oprah Winfrey as a strong, smart business women and admire all of the incredible work she does for charity, so to actually be on her show with my family is just surreal," she wrote on her website.

Kim has kept her fans updated about the interview on Twitter, where she couldn't help gushing about how exciting the experience has been.

"Ummmm no big deal Oprah just left my moms house! #DreamComeTrue (sic)," she wrote.
