Kim Kardashian will freeze her eggs if she can't find the perfect man to have children with.
The reality TV star's marriage to Kris Humphries lasted just 72 days and they are currently in the process of getting divorced. Kim is now dating music star Kanye West but has vowed to take things slowly this time.
The 31-year-old always thought she would be married with kids by the time she was 30, but has now reassessed her priorities.
"I'd like to have a family, but I don't want a child before I'm 35. If I'm single, then I can adopt or freeze my eggs," she told Vanity Fair Italy.
Kim and Kris had a whirlwind romance and the star suffered a public backlash when she split from the basketball player. It hurt her a lot, so she retreated from the limelight.
"I learned to slow down a little bit in my romantic relationships from the divorce. It has been very hard to cope with it in front of the cameras, but I took a break of four months," she explained. "I went to stay at my mother's house and I reflected a lot. I've read lot of lies, like that I earned $20 million from my marriage."
The break-up also taught Kim what she needs from her future husband. He needs to be accepting of her career and not feel threatened, or try to change her.
Kim added Kanye ticks all the right boxes.
"A man who wants to stay with me has to understand my work, to be honest and to come from a close family. He also has to have nice teeth and tiny ears," she said.
"With Kanye it is good that I've known him for a long time and it helps a lot that we were friends first of all. Being together is quite strange, but it is also very fun because it is like getting to know him again," she added.
Meanwhile, Kim's sister Kourtney sparked speculation she had gone into labour on Thursday, when she posted a cryptic message on her Twitter page.
The 33-year-old beauty uploaded a photograph on the social networking site of a beverage cup from a popular take-away restaurant, with the accompanying caption: "Chick-fil-A and a water birth. No big deal (sic)."
However, Kim appeared to dispel the baby rumours on Friday morning. She took to her Twitter page to tell fans she was shooting a new campaign with her sisters Kourtney and Khlo.
"Up early!!! Shooting our new ad campaign for our make up line with my sisters @KourtneyKardash @KhloeKardashian! Gonna be a fun day!!! Kim wrote. "5:30am call time is a little early buuuuut I will wake up soon! (sic)"
