(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kirstie Alley is being sued for allegedly not being truthful in how she lost a significant amount of weight.

The actress has been promoting Organic Liaison claiming it was the product that assisted her in losing 100lbs.

But TMZ reports that California woman, Marina Abramyan has filed a lawsuit alleging Kirstie actually lost the weight through her rigorous training on Dancing With The Stars.

The plaintiff used the product but was apparently dissatisfied and wants Kirstie to reveal the truth claiming the Hollywood star was actually on an extremely low calorie diet and doing lots of exercise.

Abramyan says the product just contains a lot of calcium and fibre which is not a proven weight-loss product.

The woman wants unspecified damages from the 61-year-old former Cheers star. (C) Cover Media
