Kris Humphries is focused on "moving forward" following his marriage breakdown.
The professional basketball player appeared on Good Morning America with his mom Debra today to discuss his future.
However, he was also asked several questions about his highly publicised 72-day marriage to reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
The star admitted his life has changed since the split.
"It's been different I'm just focused on family and preparing for basketball. Just moving forward," he said.
When asked if he was still loves his former wife, Kris laughed nervously.
He was eager to stay away from anything too personal.
"I'm focused on what I can control and that's playing ball and supporting my mom and her cookie baking," he said. "Right now I'm focused on basketball and other things will take care of themselves."
Due to the terms of his prenuptial agreement, which he is currently fighting, the star is not allowed to speak in detail about his relationship with Kim.
He was also asked whether the constant filming of their life together for Kim's various TV shows might have affected the relationship.
"I can't say for sure, it's the only time I've been married," he explained. "I've been in front of cameras with the NBA since I was 19 years-old. It's a different level for me. But now it's all about moving forward and being excited about the opportunity to give back through my foundation."
Kris also revealed how it felt to have the breakdown of his marriage shown on reality TV.
The 26-year-old was adamant that he isn't the same as his persona on the show.
"I think if people know me and who I am and what I stand for then they know I'm a fun guy," he smiled. "I don't really buy into the whole gossip thing."
