(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristen Stewart is getting bored with playing Bella Swan in the Twilight movies.

The 20-year-old American actress is most famous for portraying the character in the popular vampire franchise but feels that it is time to spread her wings and try out other roles.

The star is currently starring in new movie Welcome to The Rileys in which she plays a troubled 16-year-old stripper, which is a far cry from the good-girl image of vulnerable Bella.

Kristens been playing this same character in - what? - two or three movies now, and that frustrates her, Welcome to the Rileys director Jake Scott told E! News about her Twilight role.

The director has compared Kristens acting talents to that of a feral creature, describing her as wolfish and uncontrollable - characteristics she may have adopted from the Twilight characters themselves. It is a part of her nature that has impressed him.

Shes very vulpine - very wolfish - and wily, kind of twitchy. Directing her is kind of like wrangling a herd of cats, he said.

Scott first noticed her strength as an actress in Into The Wild where she played a teenage singer.

He revealed Kristen often uses her creativity to move away from the script and make a character her own, which the director admires.

Kristen, more than anyone, would go off-script or off-course, but it would be brilliant and it would work, Scott admitted. But it would throw [Rileys costars] Jim [Gandolfini] and Melissa [Leo].
