The South Indian distribution rights of the upcoming film, 'Kumki' directed by Prabhu Solomon and produced by director Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers Film Media Pvt. Ltd, have been acquired by Studio Green.

Run by Gnanavelraja, a close relative of top actors Suriya and Karthi Sivakumar, Studio Green has produced, distributed and released over 100 successful films in the past.

Confirming the new development, a press statement read, "Studio Green has bagged the South Indian theatrical rights (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka) of the much awaited tamil film'Kumki'".

The film marks the acting debut of Vikram Prabhu, grandson of thespian Shivaji Ganesan. Lakshmi Menon plays the leading lady in the film, with Thambi Ramaiah who has a special appearance.
