(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kylie Minogue has revealed she wants to make a return to acting.

The 42-year-old star shot to fame in Australian television show Neighbours in the 80s, before going on to launch a successful career in pop. Kylie continued to pursue her interest in acting, appearing in movies including The Delinquents, Moulin Rouge! and Street Fighter.

She admits she has been too lazy to land any further film roles since then, but has expressed an interest in getting involved in a musical movie next year.

I dont know why I havent done it yet. Musicals are, its no surprise, right up my alley and I would be in seventh heaven doing a musical, she said in an interview with BBC Radio 2. Its going to happen somehow but I need to be a bit more pro-active.

Kylie hopes to start making the movie once she has completed her tour.

For now though, she is taking a break from her hectic schedule to enjoy Christmas. The star is planning to spend the festive season relaxing in a loose-fitting outfit at home with her boyfriend, model Andrs Velencoso.

I wear man-style tracks, so they are quite cred, but they are track pants, she explained. (C) Cover Media
