(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lady Gagas mother only calls her by her stage name when shes been bad.

The singer was christened Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, but is known around the world as Lady Gaga. Most of her friends now refer to her by the moniker which she loves, as she insists there is no separation between her on and off-stage personalities.

Its only really her parents which still call her by her given name, and even then not all the time.

There really is just no separation between the two, its more just like a nickname for me now Gaga, she explained to UK TV show Daybreak. When Im good my mom calls me Stephanie and when Im mad she goes, Come on Lady Gaga. Not often, Im a good girl.

The singers new track is called Judas and has caused intense speculation. Judas was one of Jesus apostles but ended up betraying him, and religious leaders are angered the star has penned a song about him.

Gaga insists people have judged the track too quickly as they are yet to see the accompanying promo, which she is more than happy with.

The song Judas is me talking about my faith to myself and I am struggling between my virtue and my demons throughout the song. The message of faith in the video is so powerful and beautiful and I think the video will be one of the most I didnt know that about her things that has ever happened, she said.

Judas comes from Gagas upcoming album Born This Way, which also includes a song about her late grandfather called The Edge of Glory. Its one of her favourites on the LP and she has spoken passionately about it.
