(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lady Gaga has spent 10,000 on royal memorabilia which she plans to display in a special room at her home.

The eccentric singer is known to have a special interest in the famous British royal family, even throwing a party to celebrate the recent wedding of Britain's Prince William and Catherine Middleton. She has also spoken passionately about how excited she was to meet Queen Elizabeth II in 2009 and has now decided to collect anything to do with the iconic Brits for her New York home.

"Gaga has sent her flunkies to London to spend 10,000 on Princess Di and Wills and Kate wedding memorabilia. She wants to set up a room in her New York pad dedicated to London and all her precious Little Monsters over there," a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.

Little Monsters is the name Gaga has given her fans. She is renowned for doing all she can to show how much her admirers mean to her, and is said to be particularly happy with how her latest record Born This Way has performed in the UK.

Gaga threw the party in honour of the royal wedding to coincide with the end of her The Monster Ball Tour. She had a whole room decorated with British flags and bunting, while the dress code was royal.

"Her dancers came dressed as Wills and Harry, Henry VIII and even corgis. Gaga also brought along a sceptre and crown for her mother," a source explained at the time. (C) Cover Media
