(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lea Michele has denied a rift with her Glee co-stars, insisting she regularly invites them over for dinner.

The 24-year-old actress has been working since she was eight and enjoyed a successful musical theatre career before she landed a role in Glee. Denying rumours she behaves like a diva, Lea has revealed she is down to earth and shares a close bond with the cast and crew of the award-winning American television show.

The star loves being part of Glee - which follows a group of high school misfits who belong to a musical club - and often makes generous gestures on the set.

If we all didnt love each other as much as we do then it would be really hard, but I get to work with my best friends. I think that makes everything so enjoyable no matter what were doing, Lea said in an interview with British magazine Closer. I love having my cast members over, inviting them over to my house. Ive been known to bake cookies for my crew and bring them to work.

Lea claims people often label her as a difficult person because of the ambitious character she plays in Glee. In the show, she portrays Rachel Berry, an unpopular high school student who is willing to do anything she can to land the solo singing parts. The actress admits there are some similarities between her and Rachel and finds it frustrating when ambitious women are criticised.

Her passion for performing is very similar to mine as well as her determination, she explained. Sometimes when people see a woman whos very determined and knows what she wants they label her as something negative. (C) Cover Media
