Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Don 2’ faces legal trouble as makers of the original ‘Don’ film sent a legal notice to the producers of ‘Don 2’…
Falling in controversies and getting legal notices seems to have become a routine for the Bollywood movies before its release date! While recently we reported that Silk Smitha’s brother sent a legal notice to the makers of ‘The Dirty Picture’, now we hear it is Shah Rukh’s upcoming movie Don 2 which has got a legal notice from the makers of the original ‘Don’ flick citing reason for copyright infringement.
According to the reports, the producer of the 1978 Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Don’, Nariman Films has sent a legal notice to Excel Entertainment for copyright infringement saying that they had only given the rights to remake the movie and no rights to make a sequel.
To this, producer Ritesh Sidhwani tweeted on his twitter account "About the notice from the original producers of Don be rest assured we have done nothing wrong and shall stick to the correct legal and moral principles."
Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Don 2 is set to release on 23rd December 2011.
