Sanjay Gupta reinforced a complaint against producer Vinod Bachchan with Versova Police station in Mumbai for extortion, defamation and cheating.

Claiming that Vinod tried to maneuver him with a fake legal notice demanding Rs. 50 lakh, that was earlier paid to him as remuneration for a project called 'Delhi ka thug', which was shelved.

But Sanjay was paid with a token amount of Rs. 49.5 lakh, because of his dedication and time consumed on the project.

As Sanjay's upcoming movie 'Jazbaa' is in news, Vinod has sent him a legal notice claiming that the token money was for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer and he looks forward for the credit of a producer in the same.
