(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lily Allen has vowed not to enlist a nanny to help when she gives birth.
The singer and her boyfriend Sam Cooper announced Lily was three months pregnant earlier this month, and are both thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents. Lily has often spoken about how difficult her childhood was due to her parents splitting up, and has vowed to give her baby more stability.
“Lily’s younger years were turbulent to say the least,” a source explained to Look magazine. “So she’s determined to do things differently when she gives birth in the new year. She says she won’t have a nanny – she wants to do everything herself.”
Lily, 25, announced she was taking a break from the music industry to concentrate on other projects earlier this year. She and Sam are currently looking for a new home in the Cotswolds, after deciding they want to get away from the hectic pace of life in London. They are also keen to raise their family away from the city.
“They are over the moon. It’s the moment they’ve been dreaming of for so long,” another source explained. “She can’t wait to be a mum.” (C) Cover Media
