The cast and crew of Suriya's forthcoming film 'Maatraan' took immense pain recently, to shoot some crucial portions in Bhuj near the India-Pakistan border. The pain we mean here was not due to any security reasons, but because of the scorching summer heat.
'We had a tough time in Bhuj, as the sun was in its full form. But we managed to shoot as planned thanks to the co-operation from the members of the team,' says K. V. Anand, who is directing this film, after delivering the super hit 'Ko'.
There were no problems in obtaining permission to shoot in Bhuj, since it has already been declared as a safe zone. 'The scenes we canned there will be one of the biggest highlights of the movie,' the choreographer turned director adds.
Being produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram on AGS Entertainment banner, 'Maatraan' has music by Harris Jayaraj, with Kajal Agarwal playing the heroine. The film will be released on August 15th by Eros International.
