22nd May 2012

Day in and day out, some crucial developments are taking place on the movie 'Kochadaiyaan's front. The latest is that the Telugu and Hindi versions of the Superstar Rajinikanth starrer have been titled as 'Vikram Simha'.

'Since Kochadaiyaan is a chaste Tamil title, many in Andhra Pradesh and North India may not understand the meaning. Hence the makers have decided to name the movie's Telugu and Hindi versions as Vikram Simha,' say sources.

Needless to mention, 'Vikram Simha' is the name of one of the characters played by Rajini in this movie, which is being directed by Soundarya R. Ashwin. A. R. Rahman is composing the music for 'Kochadaiyaan', which has the story, screenplay, dialogues and direction supervision by K. S. Ravikumar.

'Shooting is almost complete but for few scenes and a couple of songs. Post production works are simultaneously taking place. Soundarya is planning to release the movie by the middle of September,' sources add.
