With the super hit 'Tanu Weds Manu' ,Bollywood got its most unusual pair, with Kangna Ranaut and R.Madhavan seen on-screen for the first time in their careers. Many doubted their compatibility as a couple on screen but with the film being tagged as a hit by the audience, all doubts were cleared. People then started to assume that Madhavan and Kangna will go on to make a hit pair in future but all such hopes can now be put on hold as Maddy has opted out of a film starring his latest co-star. Directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru of 'Lucky - No Time for Love' fame were all set to commence their stalled film 'Happy New Year' starring Sunny Deol, Kangna Ranaut and R. Madhavan but then all were surprised with Maddy's announcement. Due to reasons unknown, it is now confirmed by the star himself that he has walked out of the film that was earlier titled 'Happy New Year' now called 'I love New Year'
During the promotions of 'Tanu Weds Manu' it was reported that Madhavan was upset with Kangna hogging all the glory and the credit for the film and he felt sidelined. The matter later took a back seat as the film's super hit status had overcome all negative reports. With this sudden change of heart by Madhavan, it suggests that the star is no more willing to share his power status with his 'Tanu Weds Manu' co-star. In spite of Madhavan repeatedly denying the rumours, saying that he opted out of the film a year earlier, wonder why the news is still doing the rounds. Madhavan, it's quite evident that the rift between you and Kangna, just got widened.
