The pop diva has managed to clinch the title from the TV Baron Simon Cowell 51, and singer Robbie Williams to get the top slot in the list of TV mogul Simon Cowell and singer Robbie Williams as her name has appeared in UK magazines and publications 46,000 times since the year 2000 reported Mirror Online.

Simon Cowell who bagged the second spot has 29,888 mentions and Robbie Williams got a score of 28,563. Williams to be placed third on the list.

Madonnas popularity is being said to be due to her very high-fi personal life with her marriage to film maker Guy Ritchie and their subsequent divorce. This was then followed by her string of affairs with guys much younger to her like Jesus Luz and Brahmin Zaibat, her four major world tours and of course her son Rocco and her two adapted children David and Mercy. So the decade is nearing its end with Madonna remaining on top of the most popular celebrity to be talked about in the past ten years.
