Iranian model Mandana Karimi who gained name and fame as one of the contestants in TV show Bigg Boss season 9 has now accused her husband Gaurav Gupta for domestic violence. Mandana married Gaurav in January and their wedding was a star-studded affair. In a case filed by her at Andheri magistrate court Mandana said that her in-laws threw her out from her matrimonial house and even Gaurav has cut off all ties with her. In the petition filed by her she had claimed Rs. 10 laks as monthly maintenance and Rs. 2 crore for "for the trauma and agony caused, and loss of career and business."

A leading daily quoted her statement which says, "I was thrown out of my matrimonial house seven weeks ago. I made desperate attempts to reconcile with them, but my in-laws didn't allow me back. Gaurav has cut me off." She also claimed that her in-laws stopped her from working in films as it was "incompatible with his family's status in the society," they even forced her to change her religion.

Mandana has worked in film like 'Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3' and 'Main Aur Charles.'
