Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's philanthropist show 'Satyamev Jayate' has always garnered the right amount of attention from all ends. 

As and when he brings a lesser known issue to the public attention, he has successfully managed to get some development to that specific social concern. 

The latest to join the list of Aamir's admirers is the newly appointed Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi. 

Gandhi wants her staff to watch his TV show and take cues from it for starting the work. 

Maneka was apparently moved by the episode that dealt with the plight of rape victims and hence she asked officials in her ministry to watch it and plan on solutions offered in it ahead of the framing of policy on rehabilitating rape victims.

When Aamir was informed about this, he was more than happy to be a part of this change. 

"I was pleasantly surprised to note that Manekaji has watched our episode, Fighting Rape, and has recommended it to her staff. I do believe that women safety is one of the key issues that we need to concentrate on. I am glad that the new government is moving quickly on it. My team and I will be happy to help in any way that the honourable minister feels fit," said Aamir.
