Ace director Mani Ratnam has finally completed the shooting schedule of his upcoming movie 'Kadali'. The post-production work will take at least a month or two, after which the movie-makers are expecting to release it in December.

'Kadali', which is simultaneously being made in Tamil as 'Kadal', has music by A. R. Rahman. Interesting it was Mani Ratnam itself who launched Rahman in his 1992 movie 'Roja'.

Mani's current movie marks the debut of Karthik's son Gautham Karthik and Radha's younger daughter Thulasi Nair. Apparently Karthik and Radha made their acting debut together in the movie 'Alaigal Oyvadhilai'.

Sources say that the director is very happy with the way both the movies have taken shape and he is hoping that it will be welcomed by the audiences in Andhra Pradesh as well as Tamil Nadu. Surprisingly Mani Ratnam also has plans to release the movie in Hindi.
