(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mariah Careys husband Nick Cannon splashed out on a $400,000 car for her this Christmas.

The superstar singer is currently pregnant with twins and Nick was keen to treat her to an extra special present this year. The presenter-and-comic decided to buy Mariah a Rolls-Royce Phantom with a personalised number plate and she still cant believe how lucky she is.

Mariah took to her Twitter account to express her delight with her generous husband, who she married in 2008 following a whirlwind romance.

"Still getting over my Christmas gift from @NickCannon," she wrote on Wednesday. "License plate:mommyMC : ) (sic)."

Many people were surprised when Mariah first began dating Nick. However, the couple are still together and happier than ever. The star insists she knew 30-year-old Nick who is more than ten years younger than her was the perfect man for her, even if it took other people some time to understand their relationship.

"He's a great person, and we have more in common than not... I know people initially were, 'What? Those two?' But I think people who know us get it," she added. (C) Cover Media
