(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mark Wahlberg has revealed he only decided to get married once he was sure the relationship wouldnt end in divorce.

The 39-year-old star of hit films Boogie Nights and The Departed claims it was painful memories from his childhood which delayed his marriage to model Rhea Durham.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2009, have been together for nine years and have four children - seven year-old Ella Rae, four year old Michael, two year old Brendan Joseph and 11-month-old Margaret Grace. Rhea is currently pregnant with the pairs fifth child.

Mark insists he is still haunted by his parents divorce when he was younger and was determined to avoid putting his children through a similar experience.

"I have always said that I do believe in marriage but that I don't believe in divorce. I am really a burnt child. My parents separated when I was eleven years old. Rhea and I were happy without a marriage certificate. But then we married however," he revealed. (C) Cover Media
