(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Matthew McConaughey feels like a "shepherd" with "two valuable packages tied to [his] hip" now that he's a father.
The actor and fiance Camila Alves have four-year-old son Levi and daughter Vida, two, together. Matthew has explained what impact being a parent has had on his lifestyle.
"I travel for we' instead of me'. I feel like I'm a courier, a shepherd. I'm a king now. I've got two valuable packages tied to my hip, and that's my son and my daughter. I cherish it," he gushed in an interview with Total Film magazine.
"Being a father was the one thing, since I was eight years old, that I knew I wanted to be. I remember I loved calling somebody sir'. I've always respected, looked up."
Matthew has joked that he learnt about females from Playboy magazine. The Hollywood hunk says son Levi will probably follow him down the same path.
"Yeah, Playboy I had them hidden in the barn, about a mile from home. Which I never thought was far enough!" he exclaimed.
"Playboy was great. You know what I'm saying, right? I'm sitting here right now, looking at my son's treehouse way back there, and that's where his Playboys will be."
Matthew famously played Brazilian tribal music while Camila gave birth to Levi. The 42-year-old star - who now plays bongo drums with his children - considered personally playing the percussion instruments while Camila was in labour.
"Well, if I'd had them in there, I would have used them, but I had no time to go get them. Talk about a wild ride woo, yeah!" he laughed. (C) Cover Media
