(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mel Gibson is due in court today in connection with his custody battle over his 22-month-old daughter Lucia.

The actor and his former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva reached an agreement last Friday after a long dispute.

But the Lethal Weapon actor is expected to appear before a judge to finalise matters, according to RadarOnline.

"As the result of a multi-day settlement conference, the Court announces that Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have achieved a settlement," a statement from the Public Information Officer for the Los Angeles County Court said.

All of the matters concerning the financial agreement will be heard in open court while the custody issues will be heard in a closed session.

Mel pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an incident with the Russian musician where Oksana claimed he hit her. (C) Cover Media
