(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sir Michael Caine was shocked when Charlize Theron revealed her nasty old man underpants on a film set, but said she still looked sexy in them.

The 77-year-old actor starred opposite the South African beauty in the 1999 drama The Cider House Rules. The movie saw Michael play a backyard abortionist who Charlizes character visits after she gets pregnant unexpectedly.

In one scene, Charlize had to expose herself to Michael, and the actor was dreading the scene, because he was worried the younger actress would be embarrassed. The day arrived and Michael was shocked when Charlize disrobed, smiled and spread her legs to reveal some decidedly un-sexy underpants.

We had to play a potentially embarrassing scene together in which my doctor character gives her an obstetric examination with her legs up on stirrups, Michael laughed to British newspaper The Daily Mail. We were all waiting to see how she would handle this and she did it in typical Charlize fashion.

When the time came for the shoot, she got up on the stirrups, gave her wickedest smile and opened her legs to reveal the nastiest pair of old man's underpants I have ever seen although being Charlize, she still managed to look sexy in them.

Michael loved working with Charlize, 35, in the film, declaring her to be one of the most beautiful women he has ever seen. He would love to work with her again, and also has his eyes on parts opposite Nicole Kidman, Beyonc Knowles and Scarlett Johansson.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of getting to my age in movies is watching the young stars come up, and Charlize is one of the most talented and beautiful of them all, Michael said.
