Michael Jackson hysterical in final hours'

9th November 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michael Jackson "pleaded and begged" for his special "milk" in the moments leading up to his death, according to Dr. Conrad Murray.

The physician was found guilty of Jackson's involuntary manslaughter earlier this week. The pop icon died of acute Propofol intoxication in 2009, and Murray has always denied giving him the fatal dose of the powerful anaesthetic.

Murray was been shooting a documentary over the last two years, which includes footage of his trial preparations. He talks about the star's death in it, insisting he was asking for "milk" shortly before passing. It's previously been claimed Jackson used the term to describe Propofol, which he was using to help ease insomnia.

"He was pleading and begging to please, please let him have some milk because that was the only thing that would work," Murray says in the programme, according to British newspaper The Daily Mirror.

"He really could not sleep. Have you ever seen the Thriller image when he was made up? He looked that hysterical."

Michael Jackson and The Doctor: A Fatal Friendship is due to hit screens in the US on Friday. Murray is understood to discuss his efforts to save the King of Pop and goes into detail about their relationship.

After being found guilty, Murray was handcuffed in court and taken to jail until sentencing on November 29. He faces up to four years inside, but Jackson's family believe he should get longer.

"Dr. Murray was practising Frankenstein medicine on my brother. He should spend the rest of his life in jail," Tito Jackson claimed.

"He was supposed to guide Michael to better health and safety and do what was right for him. He did not follow the law. Doctors are supposed to save lives, not take them."

The singer's mother Katherine has also called for a long sentence.

"I was drained emotionally and the pain and hurt I feel inside has never left as they cannot bring Michael back. Dr. Murray deserves a longer jail sentence. Sons are supposed to bury their parents, not parents bury their sons. I can never forgive Dr. Murray for what he did to Michael," she said. (C) Cover Media
