Michael Jacksons kids saw him unconscious

6th January 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michael Jacksons children walked into the room where his personal physician was trying to revive him and started crying, a court has heard.

The singer died, aged 50, in June 2009 and his official cause of death was acute Propofol intoxication by intravenous injection of another. Propofol is a powerful anaesthetic usually given to surgery patients to help them sleep.

Murray, Jacksons personal physician, has been charged with his involuntary manslaughter, which he denies. A preliminary hearing began in Los Angeles this week, during which it will be decided if he should face a full trial. It will last around two weeks.

Michaels bodyguard Alberto Alvarez gave evidence yesterday, in which he admitted the pop icons kids Prince Michael, 13, and Paris, 12, saw as Murray desperately tried to resuscitate him. The star also has eight-year-old son Prince Michael II, known as Blanket.

Paris screamed, 'Daddy,' and she started crying, he said. [Murray shouted], Get them out! Get them out! Dont let them see their father like this.

The security guard who struggled to contain his emotions - claimed Jackson was lying on his back but had his eyes and mouth open at the time. Asked if the singer seemed alive or dead, he replied: Dead sir.

Murray was attempting Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with one hand and mouth-to-mouth.

Alvarez was the first person on the scene after Murray realised Jackson was in trouble. He alleged the physician began clearing up medical paraphernalia, asking him to help put away bottles, before getting him to dial emergency services.

I said, 'Dr. Murray, what happened? Alvarez said. 'He had a bad reaction, he had a bad reaction, thats all he said.

He just grabbed a handful of bottles or vials and he instructed me to put them in a bag. When I did that, he then instructed me to remove an IV bag from the IV stand.

Paramedic Richard Senneff, who was called to Jacksons house on June 25 2009, also took the stand yesterday. He alleged he was never told the star had used Propofol.

Michaels mother and father Katherine and Joe Jackson were in court yesterday, along with his sisters La Toya, Janet and Rebbie. Katherine was visibly upset as she listened to evidence, and was seen wiping away tears. (C) Cover Media
