(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michelle Rodriguez has revealed Avatar 2 will be filmed underwater.

The 32-year-old starred in James Camerons hi-budget sci-fi blockbuster original in 2009, playing Trudy Chacon, a dedicated combat pilot in the adventure movie.

The actress says the new take on the popular film will blow peoples minds as it is so beautiful, but has admitted she still doesnt know whether she will be cast again the sequel.

The American star thinks the idea is so innovative, she hopes that if she isnt asked to re-appear in the second movie, she is able to watch it being made.

James Cameron produced the 2011 film Sanctum, which was a 3D movie set underwater. The action thriller follows a team of cave divers on an expedition to the largest and least accessible cave system on Earth.

Michelle is currently starring in Battle: Los Angeles which sees a Marine platoon face off against an alien invasion in Los Angeles. (C) Cover Media
