December 3, 2010 (Showbiz PR Wire):Mukta Arts Limited, promoted by Subhash Ghai, has one more feather to don in its hat on the distribution front. The companys distribution division, Mukta Movies Distributors (MMD) has reached an agreement with Walt Disney India to distribute the upcoming Hollywood Blockbuster Tron: Legacy in all Indian territories - excluding Tamil Nadu and Mysore. MMD will be releasing the film in three languages, English, Hindi and Telugu and on the same day as the film releases in the US.
Tron: Legacy is the highly anticipated sequel to the 1980s cult film Tron. The film, which is set completely in a digital universe, has been shot completely in 3-D and has used the latest technology for cutting edge special effects. It is Disneys tentpole release worldwide for the Christmas period.
Tron: Legacy is a high octane adventure set in a computer generated world with the core of the story based around a sons search for his long-lost father. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinsk and once again stars Jeff Bridges (Iron Man, Crazy Heart, The Big Lebowski) reprising his role from the original film, Garrett Hedlund (Four Brothers, Troy & Death Sentence) and Olivia Wilde (House M.D., Year One and Alpha Dog).
The film is slated for a 17th December 2010 release.
