Muran starring Prasanna and Cheran in lead roles and directed by newcomer Rajjan Madhav will hit the screens on 16th September. The movie is jointly produced by Cheran's Dream Theatres and UTV Motion Pictures.

Muran has been inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's ‘Strangers On A Train’ and will showcase how two strangers meet in a train, have a common enemy and decide to get rid of him.

Cheran will play a popular musician and Prasanna will be seen as a rich entrepreneur. The tunes for ‘Muran’ are by Sajjan Madhav the director's sibling.
