(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rob Lowe was "knocked to the ground" by a branch while shooting his latest project.
The actor has been filming television movie The Drew Peterson Story, in which he plays the lead character. The picture tells the true story of a man charged with killing his third wife after the mysterious disappearance of his fourth wife.
The film is being shot in Chicago, nicknamed The Windy City.
Despite adverse weather Rob was determined to finishing a sequence recently, but later regretted his enthusiasm.
"The director reluctantly gave in, so they started filming this simple sequence where Rob walks across a parking lot," a source told National Enquirer. "But before he got even halfway, a rogue gust of wind picked up a huge chunk of brush, rocketed it at Rob and literally knocked him to the ground."
Staff immediately rushed to his aid, but Rob was unhurt save for a few scratches.
He couldn't believe what had happened, telling everyone he'd never seen weather like it before. (C) Cover Media
