Naomie Harris admits acting nerves

10th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Movies - Naomie Harris was so scared about appearing on stage this year she feared she would be sick every night.

The actress appeared in an adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein alongside Jonny Lee Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch in London. The play was directed by Danny Boyle and much as Naomie enjoyed branching away from the big screen it was also a nerve-wracking experience.

"For the first week I felt like I was going to throw up every time I went on stage," she laughed to Glamour magazine.

"I booked [movie] 28 Days Later nine months after I left drama school ten years ago, so hadn't done theatre for ages. And then I was performing on stage in front of 1,200 people it was terrifying."

Naomie got on famously with her co-stars and they spent a lot of time together away from the stage. She was upset when the theatre run was over and they all went their separate ways, although now she's focusing on the future.

Naomie who has been tipped to play the next Bond girl - is planning to appear in more movies, hinting she has something especially exciting on the horizon.

"I will definitely be breaking up theatre with TV and film," she explained. "It's all about the projects. There are a couple of things coming up, but I can't talk about them yet." (C) Cover Media
