(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Natalie Portman feels like an old hag because shes been working in movies for 18 years.

The 29-year-old star began acting when she was just a child, and has gained a reputation for being prepared to do whatever it takes for a role. She shaved her head for 2006s V for Vendetta, and famously trained as a ballerina and dropped 20lbs. for her part in Black Swan.

She has also been nominated for two Oscars Natalie is hotly tipped to pick up the best actress Academy Award this year for Black Swan but finds her success difficult to comprehend. She cant believe she has been working for so long as she still feels like a young woman, something she thinks many actresses struggle with.

"I made my first movie when I was 11. I'm an old hag," she laughed. "I guess it's pretty common with actors, to be doing this for 18 years, but it's extreme."

The star is currently pregnant with her and fianc Benjamin Millepieds first child, which is due this summer. Although Natalie has some movies to promote in the coming months she is planning to take time off from work to concentrate on being a mother.

Natalie has already received the best actress Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards for Black Swan, but shes finding it hard to think about the success of the movie. She is keen to prepare for her baby, so shes finding all thats expected of her in awards season confusing.

I feel like I'm on another planet or something right now. It's not quite sinking in, she told the Los Angeles Times. I feel really lucky. It's something that's completely wonderful, and I have a very definite goal I'm working toward with that. (C) Cover Media
