The latest hot topic in Tollywood is that Nayanthara was stopped from signing a Telugu film by her beau Prabhudeva, as an astrologer had advised him to tie the knot before February 2012, so that their married life will be smooth and steady.

'Nayan had in fact decided to call it a day with "Sri Rama Rajyam". But she wanted to reconsider her decision when producer Konda Krishnam Raju approached her with a meaty offer, which offered her a role on the lines of Anushka's in "Arundhati",' sources say.

'So she approached Prabhudeva with the idea. But the actor-choreographer-director dismissed it citing a prediction by the astrologer that they should marry by February. So Nayan had no other option than politely turning the offer down,' add sources.

It is said that the couple had bought a palatial house on the scenic East Coast Road on the outskirts of Chennai to start their married life. 'A senior actor who is close to Prabhu and Nayan helped them buy the property. He owns a farmhouse nearby,' sources maintain.
