Bollywood's veteran actress Neetu Singh recently revisited some old memories when her nephew Armaan Jain's (son of Neetu's sister-in-law, Reema Jain) debut film was named after her track.
Back in the 70's, Neetu played a small part in 'Yaadon Ki Baaraat' (1973) where she featured in the hit dance number 'Lekar hum deewana dil'. The song had got her a lot of attention at an early age.
As soon as Neetu got the news of the film's name, she got extremely excited. In fact she talked to Armaan's mother Reema about it in detail.
When asked about it, Neetu exclaimed that the song is very special for her. "This song holds a special place in my heart. It was my first film and I was merely in eighth grade, and had faced the camera for the first time. When I learnt what the title of Armaan's film was, I was super excited. I also shared my feelings with Armaan’s mother," said Neetu.
As they say, it's all in the family!
