Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor sudden trip to the US for health treatment gave rise to rumours of the actor being detected with cancer. However, his family back in India put all the rumours to rest while their interaction with the media on several occasions.

The actor's wife Neetu Kapoor who has accompanied the actor, recently posted a couple of pictures with her family members, friends and Rishi too. Captioning the image, she wrote, "While Kapoor Saab went shopping the girls partied"  Click here to view the images on Neetu's Instagram. 

While Rishi is clicked sporting a black jacket during his shopping spree in New York, Neetu was seen having a gala time with sister-in-law Rima Jain and friends.

To keep his fans posted about his US trip, he had tweeted, "Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It's been 45 years "plus" of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I  will be back soon!"

The actor is also seen in his new look for Sony Pictures and Honey Trehan backed untitled film by Hitesh Bhatia.
