The 43-year-old Hollywood siren married country singer Keith in 2006, and the actress thanks her beloved for making her realise appearances arent important.

The natural beauty insists spreading her time between her native Australia and Nashville, Tennessee, means she doesnt get sucked into Hollywoods obsession with perfection. She also credits the ageing process with making her more secure.

Keith says, Who cares? Really, you love and you die and everything in between so you better make sure youre having a good time and not worry. It helps to be a woman in my 40s. You cant say dont worry to a teenage girl. Its devastating. You cant say it to a 21-year-old So you live and learn, Nicole told the British edition of Marie Claire.

The actress also discussed her experiments with Botox, the non-surgical cosmetic treatment for frown lines which is favoured by many celebrities. Despite being happy to admit she tried the process, Nicole is adamant she would never take if further and go under the surgeons knife.
