Earlier this month, Nicole held a bachelorette party in Mexico, sparking speculation the nuptials would be taking place soon. It was then claimed the pair were planning a Christmas wedding, and Nicole has now confirmed she will be walking down the aisle in the near future.

Yes, she replied, when asked if she is getting married soon.

Nicole was doing the rounds of US media to promote her new novel Priceless, about a rich girl whose life is transformed by unexpected events. She was again quizzed about her relationship status on Good Morning America, and went into slightly more detail about her plans.

I'm going to be honest with you, Joel and I are not big planners, she said. We just kind of go with the flow with things.

Nicole, 29, was happy to discuss her kids, explaining daughter Harlow is always making her laugh. The tot has started to appreciate music, and is a particular fan of Nicoles father Lionel Richie.
