The stunning star has been cast in the next instalment of the franchise which will see Agent Jay played by Will Smith defend the earth from an evil alien.

Josh Brolin, Emma Thompson and Tommy Lee Jones are also set to feature in the movie, due for release in 2012.

And Nicole, who has just released her new solo single Poison, is delighted to have be given the opportunity to work alongside the stars, revealing they are funny and talented.

Its kind of brilliant and magical to be in a room with people like Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Emma Thompson, the 32-year-old beauty explained. They are so hilarious and fun and I am blessed that my first movie saw me working with them.

Nicole enjoyed teaming up with Will, who is a long-time acquaintance. She first encountered the star when they worked on one of his records, and Nicole has revealed the megastar instantly made her feel at home on set.

Its cool to work with him because we have been friends for a while, she said. I did his album with him a few years ago, I did a song on it. So he has welcomed me into the family. (C) Cover Media
