After Maria Susairaj slapped Ram Gopal Varma with a legal notice over her objection on his latest film 'Not a Love Story', it was her partner in crime Emile Jerome who had filed a petition in High Court which demanded to stall the release of the film. The film by RGV is inspired by the real life 'Neeraj Grover' Murder Mystery that had Maria and Emile as prime accused.

Emile, in his petition, had stated that the film could jeopardise his case and hence he demands to stall the release of the film. However the High Court has ruled out Jerome's petition and has decided in RGV's favor. The High Court has given a green signal to the film, which was slated to release on 19th August 2011.

 Elated with this victory, Ramu recently posted a tweet on his Twitter page to inform the world about the goings-on. He wrote, "Jerome's attempt at bringing on a stay on the release of 'Not A Love Story' has been set aside…the film is releasing a day after the 19th". With this tweet he confirmed that the film that was supposed to release on 19th will now release a day after i.e. 20th of August 2011.
