(Cover) - EN Star Style - Olivia Palermo believes New York women have sophisticated fashion tastes.

The beautiful star has appeared in numerous advert campaigns for the likes of Mango and Matches. The 24-year-olds boyfriend, model Johannes Huebl, praised her recently for her natural gift on the catwalk.

Now Olivia says her fellow New Yorkers - because they lead hectic lives usually attempt to stay classy. And she reckons this conscious decision is down to a dedicated attitude to fashion.

I think New York women definitely have a polished look about them, a real sophistication. Were always on the go so we kind of take ourselves seriously and you can see that! Olivia explained.

The fashionista, though, argues that trends are more conservative in America than in the British capital. Olivia admires the way Londoners are open-minded. I think in New York you cant get away with as much as you can in London where its so eclectic, she added. (C) Cover Media
