Veteran actor Om Puri has given a nod to host horror series 'Aahat' aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

Approximately in the year 2004-2005, the actor was heard narrating for this horror show which is currently in its sixth season.

During an interaction with a leading publication, he confirmed the news saying,"I met Pradeep Uppoor (one of Aahat's producers) on Monday evening at his home. I have worked with him in Ardh Satya and Aghaat. We have a long-term relationship. I absolutely love the show and I couldn't say `no' to him."

Besides horror series, he hosted Savdhaan India, a popular crime docu-drama television show in the year 2012.
