(Cover) - EN Star Style - Oprah Winfreys stylist says she often jokingly reprimands him about her previous hairdos.

The 57-year-old American TV host has been in the public eye since the early 80s, and has sported a variety of different looks since that period.

Stylist Andre Walker has been at her side since 1985, and admits that although his A-list client is generally pleased with his work, she does sometimes lament his bouffant-style creations from the mid 80s.

For her 50th birthday, we did a short, choppy look with a bit of a flip. She often looks back and says, I really love that hairstyle, he told the April issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.

She also reminds me of the styles that werent so great. But in my defence: It was the 80s!

Hair guru Andre keeps Oprahs locks in excellent condition by avoiding heat damage and the over-use of products. He limits the amount he uses hairdryers or straightening irons to three times a week. His top tip for achieving shiny tresses like Oprah is keeping hair well conditioned.
