(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane are getting divorced.

The couple met in 2001, and married in Italy five years later. They have seven-year-old daughter Harlow Olivia Calliope together, but their relationship has been turbulent. In January 2009, Patricia filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, but they decided to work through their problems. The actress asked for the petition to be abandoned in July of the same year.

Thomas’s representative has now confirmed the couple have decided to go their separate ways. “The split is completely amicable and their prime focus is their daughter,” the spokesperson said. “They ask that their privacy be respected at this time.”

No further details about the grounds of the divorce have been released.

Patricia, 42, married Nicolas Cage in 1995, but they divorced in 2000. Paperwork filed at the time showed the pair had split after just nine months of marriage, but had chosen not to reveal they had parted ways in public.
