(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Arquette was "flirting up a storm" with the co-producer's wife when he guest starred on Cougar Town.

The actor had a cameo spot as a concierge on season three of the hit TV comedy drama, which also stars his estranged wife Courteney Cox.

Cougar Town's co-producer Bill Lawrence's wife Christa Miller plays Ellie Torres in the show, and Bill has joked his partner was overly-enthusiastic when David joined the set.

"That was funny because I feel like my wife and Courteney feels this way too enjoyed that too much. She was flirting up a storm. And Courteney and I couldn't stop laughing. We were like, What are you doing!?' We feel a little bit like she lost her mind in real life," he laughed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

The Cougar Town creator is eager to get the Hollywood star back on board should he express an interest in the future.

"David, by the way, he cleans up really nice. He also makes us laugh, and if he wants to do the show again, we'd do it in a heartbeat," he gushed. "That's why we left it at least partially open-ended for him to spin back through." (C) Cover Media
