(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Pink has given birth to a girl called Willow Sage.

The singer confirmed she was expecting her first baby with husband Carey Hart in November. She has been spotted out and about with an impressive baby bump several times over the last few weeks and is thrilled to have finally given birth yesterday.

She made the announcement on her Twitter page, telling fans how happy she is to be a mother.

"We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart," she wrote. "She's gorgeous, just like her daddy. #beyondblessed (sic)."

Pink and Carey were spotted arriving at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. According to RadarOnline they had a caesarean section booked as Willow Sage was breached.

"Everything went exactly to plan and Pink and Carey are absolutely thrilled," a source told the site. "Willow is gorgeous. Pink is recovering from the C-section and will stay in hospital till Monday."

Earlier this week, Pink sparked rumours she had given birth after posting a message about new beginnings on Twitter.

Pink chose to reveal she was expecting to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. There had been intense speculation she was pregnant before her appearance on Ellen's show, but she decided against acknowledging the rumours too early. She explained the baby was planned and she had a good reason for keeping the news to herself.
