Choreographer-actor-filmmaker Prabhu Deva will perform live at the grand opening ceremony of Indian premier League 2012 on 3rd April in Chennai.

The event, as against the usual M A Chidambaram Cricket Stadium at Chepauk, is expected to take place at YMCA Ground at Royapettah. Besides Prabhu Deva, it is said that Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra will also take part.

'A hot of cultural programmes are being planned to celebrate the beginning of the IPL and Prabhu Deva's dance performance will be one of the highlights of the evening. He will shake his legs for Tamil and Hindi songs,' sources say.

In the meantime, Prabhu Deva is set to don the greasepaint again. He will be seen playing the lead role in a multilingual titled Anybody Can Dance, which is shortly known as ABCD.
