There were reports that Prakash Raj would not be part of Telugu multi-starrer Seethamma Vaakitlo Srimalle Chettu. However, things have now been made clear and the actor is confirmed to play the role.

Producer Dil Raju was irked by such gibberish and denied Prakash Raj had 'walked out' of the movie. Dil Raju has asserted that Prakash Raj was very much a part of the film.

With Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh playing the lead roles, the film has Anjali as heroine. It is touted to be a feel good family entertainer and will be a whiff of fresh air in Tollywood.
