Ravi Teja-starrer Veera in Telugu is set to be dubbed in Tamil. The producers of the Tamil version are banking on the popularity of Kajal Agarwal and Taapsee, the heroines of the movie, in Tamil Nadu.

Produced by Sivam Associates, the dubbed version titled Veeraiah is ready for release. The movie has music by S S Thaman and there are seven songs in it. They were shot in Switzerland, London, Phuket and Australia.

Shaam plays the role of an honest police officer who kills a few baddies in an encounter. They now try to take revenge on him. His son is killed by them. The gang threatens to kidnap his daughter. Enters Ravi Teja as Shaam's security.  He resolves to protect the family from the gang.

The movie was a huge hit in Andhra Pradesh and plans are on to release it in Tamil this April.
