No No, we are not talking about any real life chakkar here, we are only referring to Preity Zinta's movie 'Ishqk in Paris'.

The actress who is all set to make her debut as a producer with this flick was said to be looking for a new face as the lead in her film.

However, keeping aside the speculations, it is discovered that actor Gaurav Chanana has been chosen to play the lead.

Gaurav who has been a television actor, is known for appearing in the hit television show 'Sanjeevani'. 

The actor who went off the radar some time ago has done a series of TV commercials in the past, after which he moved on to film production. It was during his production phase where he was noticed by someone from Zinta's team who thought he would be apt for the character they are looking for. Hence, Gaurav was approached and after a few auditions he was finalized for the role.

Interestingly, Gaurav has even been given a new screen name Rehaan and will be re-launched with this film.
